I wonder if your dreams mean something. I mean I know it sounds really goofy but I keep having these super weird dreams about all kinds of different things and I wonder if my subconscious is trying to tell my conscious mind something. When I was little I used to have night terrors. If you don’t know what those are basically I would sit up screaming bloody murder in the middle of the night but I would still be asleep. My parents would always come running and it really freaked my little brother out big time. I don’t have them anymore I don’t think my parents stopped waking me up asking what was wrong around 7th grade. But I have always had super vivid dreams. There are those ones that feel so real that when you woke up you swear it actually happened. I have those all the time. But when I was in 7th grade I learned how to pull myself out of a dream. If I was having a bad one I realized that if I thought it was a dream and I didn’t like it I could literally pull myself out of it and wake up! The bad part is that you have to stay awake for a minute or two so that you don’t fall right back into the same dream. Call me crazy but next time you are in a nightmare and you want out try it. I believe it is the reason I don’t still have night terrors!

In asia, dreams are regarded as a thing that shows the future. Some fortune tellers really earn a lot of money. But somtimes it does became ture from my experiences.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was little I always had nightmares, and now I still do if I eat before I go to sleep.
ReplyDeleteHey Danielle sometimes when I have a bad dream sometimes I dont wake up to stop the dream. When I do wake up I try to stop thinking about it as well so I wont go back to the same dream, but sometimes I do.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I stopped remembering my dreams when I got into high school. All my friends tell me about their crazy dreams, and I feel left out because I don't remember anything from my sleep.
ReplyDeleteI've definitely experienced dreams that predicted the future somewhat...I would dream about something and then it would come true. It's a little creepy, but very interesting too.
ReplyDeleteI totally believe in dreams telling you something. I always analyze my dreams and I've gotten pretty good at figuring out what my subconscious is trying to tell me. I even made a dream journal for a while and it's definitely really fun and insightful to analyze dreams.
Oh, have you read about "lucid dreamers"? They're people who can control their dreams...so they basically have a virtual reality helmet on and can do whatever they want and go wherever they want in their dreams. Supposedly 1 out of every 100 people is a lucid dreamer.
ReplyDeleteNo way? in asisa they really do think dreams mean the future!!!???
ReplyDeleteGrace: maybe i should start keeping a dream journal. that might help me make sense of some of them
ReplyDeleteMatthew: you should definitely try to remember. They're a good time like tv while your asleep!!
ReplyDeleteI heard that they do mean certain things. Look them up online. I don't think it predicts the future, but your emotions do have an effect on what you dream.
ReplyDeleteI have bad dreams relating to my expriences when i was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan every now and then. It is one of the best feelings in the world when i wake up from one of these dreams and relize that i am back in bed with my girlfriend in america, safe.
