Blog 56

So today has been a good day I got to work at the animal shelter for most of the day and it was so much fun. I love all the puppies and since it is a no kill shelter when you go in and you haven't been there for a week and almost all the dogs are new ones it makes you feel really good because you know that all of them went to good homes. The other thing I did today was clean the house. Now I don't mind cleaning the house but I do mind when people don't appreciate it. I straightened the entire bottom floor including shop vacuming the floor and also cleaned the kitchen. Doing five peoples dishes..not fun. I just would appreciate a thank you every now and then and most of my roomates are good about not making me feel like there mom. There is always that one in every house though it seems. Well that was pretty much my day. I am really glad that we didn't all blow up yesterday and that Thompson.. which is my favorite library...didn't blow up. All the engineering buildings though, sorry guys, I don't really use or care about.

  1. I am an engineer, so first off no hard feelings about not caring for our buildings. We feel the same way. It's a shame that no one appreciates your cleaning :-( They should or it would be an utter disaster!

  2. Awww I love puppies...baby animals of all forms are just so cute lol.

I hate it when my favors seem to be unappreciated. I know it's a favor, and by doing a favor you shouldn't be asking for a thank you because it IS a FAVOR, but sometimes it feels like someone doesn't even appreciate or notice your good deed. I always try to show my appreciation when someone does a favor for me...I'd only want the same for when I do a favor right?

  3. I agree the definitely should. And so glad I didn't offend. You guys probably would've had lots of class off if they had blown up!

  4. I always say thank you. Probably too much to the point of annoyance. I get what your saying the appreciation is appreciated.
