The Train Job
I was very skeptical yesterday when I heard that we had to watch sci-fye for our blogs. I have never been a huge fan and even the Twilight books/ movies weren't my favorite things to watch. I was pleasently surprised today when I watched Firefly. It was funny and intriguing and definately something that I didn't really mind watching. Although the space setting still weirded me out a little bit the way the show unfolds, minus the space ship part, it could be a show about people actually on earth. The medicine being taken of a train could just as easily been a plot line for a show we watch every day that wasn't in the sci-fye category and that made me feel a little more comfortable. The part of the show that interested me the most was the part about the doctor's sister. I'm very interested to find out what exactly happened to her to make her that way and why the alliance wants to find her. The little snippet they showed didn't give much detail but I hope that in one of the episodes she explains what they did to her. The other thing i really liked is that even though they are technically the "bad guys" they really aren't. I was so glad when they didn't go through with the deal to that creepy old man and that they gave the sick people in the town back their medicine. It made you really be more able to associate with the characters and it made them all a little more relatable. All in all I really enjoyed the show. I want to try out some of the others but this is definately one I think I could watch again to see what happens.

Hey Danielle I am also interested in what happen to the doctor's sister because obviously they are tryin to find her. At the end of the episode the alliance wasn't even worried about the medicine being stolen they was more concerned on the doctor's sister and I wonder why. Yeah I agree I'm glad they didnt go through with the deal either and they returned the money it shows they really cared about the people who needed the medicine the most.
