Blog 28

For my blog today I’m going to discuss cute animals. The first one I want to start out with is teacup pigs. Have you ever seen a teacup pig? If you haven’t you are missing out go to google right now and search teacup pigs in images or youtube them they are adorable. You can have them as pets and it is just like a mini potbelly pig running around your house doing cute mini pig things. They can be housebroken and basically live in your house like a dog only they are a pig. The only downfall is that they are ridiculously expensive to buy and therefore not in my price range. It’s ok though cause my roomate said that if I brought one home we would have mini bacon in the morning which would some really expensive bacon and quite a downer. Plus on the flip side if my roomate didn’t kill the mini pig my dog probably would. I have a pitbull mix name Nati (after the city not the beer) and she probably wouldn’t like a little slice of bacon taking all of my attention away from her. But that doesn’t mean that some day in the future I won’t have a mini pig of my own. I’m thinking I want a spotted one or an all pink one therefore it just looks like a baby pig all the time. I wonder how my parents will feel about this development. I don’t think I should tell them until they can see how cute it is for themselves.

  1. I googled it and it is really cute! I have a big black labrador named Buddy and a calico 6 month old kitten named Skittles (she acts like a dog). I've never considered owning a pig, but all of these friendly squirrels on campus are starting to make me want one...haha.

  2. There was a man on campus last year who had a pet squirrel it would sit on his shoulder and everything so there is definately hope if you really want on;]. And the youtube videos are even more adorable.

  3. How about a mini-horse instead. Rob Dydrek on "Rob and Big" seemed to have a blast with his. Also, although not cute, a Duck-Billed Platypus is probably the coolest looking animal ever, and proof that God sometimes drinks on the job.

  4. Teacup pigs are a legit animal. They are very interesting. It would be hilarious/fun to own one. Then you could create a whole new bred of homework excuses. My pig ate my homework sounds like a good start.

@ Jason: The only problem with owning a Duck-Billed Platypus is that they are venomous. I guess just be super nice to it at all times and try not to get poisoned.

  5. They're adorable! I forget what it's called, but there's this show where the family had a pet goat and pet chickens in their house. Oh it's Dean and Tori McDermott.

I never really considered having chickens as a house pet. Or a goat. Or a pig.

    Your blog was hilarious, though!

  6. A mini horse requires a stable thing. Not suitable for my college home but maybe someday! And I thought they had to get rid of mini horse anyways? And the pig ate my homework things is great! I feel people would think it was so funny when they walked in and there was a little bitty pig running around. I can't wait to get one!!
